Crawl, walk, run
I'm a big fan of breaking big tasks down into little, more manageable ones. I think most project managers are.
If you have a big project (or programme made up of projects) ahead of you to be delivered, it's easy to be daunted by that final deadline. You've promised X to the client by Y at Z budget...but do you really believe you can do it?
That's where milestones come in.
Think of your own (or your kids') milestones...we can't run before we can walk; can't walk before we can crawl.

Breaking your big projects down into milestones is the best way to ensure that your project stays on track, and gives your clients that level of confidence in your ability to deliver against your plan. It also - importantly - enables you to set expectations.
It's the smart way to do things - and allows you to be agile and adapt as circumstances invariably change. And it gives you the best chance of closing off a successful project on time and on budget.

The same can be applied to working with Mission: Purple. If you're not sure about the level of commitment required at your business, there's no need to start sprinting straight away. Despite the fact that the whole 'fractional' offer is there to reduce risk (ie it won't cost as much as a full-time role), there is also the option of starting with a period of consultancy.
It could take as little as 1 week to enable us to identify key issues or challenges that your business needs to address, and come back to you with our suggestions. Crawl.
From there, you then have the choice to enable us to support you more directly in implementing those first steps. Walk.
And once you're seeing some initial pay-offs, that may be the time to look at investing in an ongoing relationship of one or two days a week. Run.
There are benefits to each stage - you're moving forward, seeing results, getting closer to that final goal. But you're moving at the speed that you're comfortable moving at. And we can set milestones together at the start of each phase to ensure you're seeing the incremental benefits of working together.
So, now you know your risk is reduced, why not get in touch? You'll be amazed how quickly you could be achieving PBs...
