The colour purple

Personally, I love it.
If you know me, you know it's my favourite colour. At one point I had on a purple coat, purple bag and was sitting on a purple chair, waiting to go in for a client meeting. My colleague at the time had the most unprofessional fit of the giggles.
So, that alone could explain why the business is called what it's called.
But, believe me when I say that more thinking has gone into it than just that.
Everyone's heard of colour personality traits, right? Whether it be Myers-Briggs, Insights Discovery, DISC - or any other personality tool - the core characteristics they pull out are more or less the same:
Blue - thinkers, introverts, slower-paced, task-oriented
Red - thinkers, extroverts, speed demons, task-oriented
Green - feelers, introverts, slower-paced, relationship-oriented
Yellow - feelers, extroverts, speed demons, relationship-oriented
Of course it needs to be said that there's no 'right' or 'wrong' colour to identify with - it's just a way to recognise that we're all different, and perform at our best in different circumstances.
I think you understand what I'm getting at...so where, you ask, does purple come in?
I'd imagine that the project managers and operations leads among you will recognise the traits associated with the blue and reds. I certainly do. And I don't need to tell you that mixing the two will give you purple.
A perfect combination of the calm of 'blue' and the intensity of 'red', purple provides the balance between thoughtful planning and decisive action required in order to get the job done.
As for the 'mission' bit, well, everyone's heard of the purple patch, right? That's where we're trying to get your business.
